Live bootable USB error 'failed to load dlinux.c32'

Hi guys,

So this is rather frustrating as I have bought a Lenovo X201 specifically to install Kali on and I've just been down to eagerly get a USB stick to make bootable to install it on my lunch break and I'm getting an error while booting.

It's telling me that it:

Failed to load ldlinux.c32 - Boot failed  press any key to retry

---

I've followed the correct process to install it written here

I've tried NTFS, FAT16, FAT32 and they all get the same error.

I've done this on another PC a while back with no issue. I've run out ideas.

Any help would be appreciated otherwise I bought it for no reason :(

Then only thing I can think of is that the USB is 3gb but unpacked it's only 2.6gb so I doubt it would make a difference?
