Add metasploit exploits in nethunter

I have a custom exploit that I wanna run on a nethunter shell running on a non-rooted Android 11. I tried adding it to the root module folder and running updatedb. I tried updating packages, upgrading and updating, changing lines in the source file and then updating but the number of exploits don't change. I can root the device if it needs to be but I don't wanna nor I see why I should have to. Anyone knows how to do this ? [ Add a new exploit to metasploit database in nethunter ].
