Kali live boot on laptop with a separate screen

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 10 but the built-in screen is not working. So I connected it to my TV screen. I forgot the password and I want get the SAM file for recover password.
But when I boot on a Kali live USB key, I select "Live boot", and the TV screen (where is connected my laptop) disconnects.
So I tried with the fail-safe mode, at the beginning it how to write messages in the console (as usual when you start kali), there is written "Kali linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WAREANTY...", but after that puts an error: "Unable to alocate MSI interrupt Error: -19".
