Odroid XU4 has poor performance with youtube videos using Kali. On the contrary Ubuntu image from Hardkernel behavies much smoother...any clues?

Odroid XU4 has poor performance with youtube videos using Kali. On the contrary Ubuntu image from Hardkernel behavies much smoother...any clues?
They probably have some video codecs installed. The easiest thing would be to look at what else they have added on top of Ubuntu.
