RPi Kali not booting to GUI

Hello everyone,

I have a raspberry pi 2 model b which I recently put 2017.2 arm kali linux image on. When I first booted, everything went fine and booted to the GUI. I ran the commands apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. Everything worked fine for the first few boots. However now it boots straight to the command line and when I type startx it says it cannot connect to the X servers. I tried installing xfce but I still could not get it to work. Furthermore, it repeatedly says:
