Trouble installing Ausu 802.11ac USB-AC56 on Macbook Pro VMware Kali Linux
Hello all,
Having trouble using my USB-AC56 wireless card on my VMware Kali. My Macbook Pro see the device as a 802.11n mic card and VMware tools can only forward the interface as an ethernet port. Luckily Vmware tools can also forward the USB-AC56 as a USB device but i'm still having trouble installing the drivers. Various 'file not found' 'access denied' 'no privileges' errors keep prompting. being a noobie to linux in general doesn't help either. I've spent a good chunk of time trying to get this working. Can anyone recommend my next route of troubleshooting? Is what i want to d possible?
Thanks in advance!
