Audio issues in CSGO

I am currently using a Logitech G430 through the included USB audio adapter and both the mic and the headphones work, but when i try and go into CSGO the headphones work but the microphone does not work, but i know the mic is functioning because it works in discord and other applications

Any ideas on what steps i should take next to troubleshoot it.
