it seams that there is no driver for kali linux .

I think just in kernel we not have driver for fresh elantech touchpad..
Btw, i have same too code and same too version touchpad..
When i use gentoo admin minimal cd, in this cd disk also my touchoad not recognite..

Hi. I have also, same to problem and same too touchpad. I try to build kernel with elantech, try to set kernel cmdline psmouse elantech=force, try i8042.reset and bla bla bla .. didnt help. I use xinput for get input devices.. and i think, my touchpad not emerge in boot process.. because not have fresh driver for this touchpad.
So sadly.. !! Arrr!! I cannot use linux, only win10(
