Quck question abot lsusb

When no devices of any kind are plugged in to the phones USB-C port should the output of lsusb be blank in a correctly installed Nethunter - Kali terminal... or should it have an entry or two about the root hub and the USB standard etc ? You know... like everywhere else does.

I'm having drawing a blank output every time. I am pretty sure that should not be however I have read a couple of the dev's talking about usb-c adapters and usb-c otg cables not all being equal and I'm trying to narrow down the reasons that my device fails to pick up external wireless cards.
