2020.1 32-bit: Installation Hangs in Screen-loop at Mirror Selection

Hi All ...

The installer is unable to utilize a package manager mirror, regardless of which one is tried. It gets stuck, cycling through a screen-loop at that point of the install.

I have tried this installation multiple times with two different wired network connects, so I am pretty certain of good connectivity. The laptop is a little Dell 910. I had a much older version of Kali on it, which worked fine, say, five years ago.

Any thoughts why this show-stopper?
