When updating get error 28, no space left on device when I know I have space

I've run into this problem before but can't for the life of me remember how I fixed it other that reinstalling, like I did first time I encountered the error. I've also signature failed errors from ftp.debian and repo.steampowered, I can work those out later, unless they are what is causing the issue.

Solved. I went through all directories and found /var/log was holding 350GB of data. I searched the log files and found that 2 of them were over 100GB, deleted, cleared trash, rebooted. Problem solved.
