Can't boot windows 7 from grub menu on startup- dual boot

I installed Kali onto a separate hard drive that wasn't really being used on my computer for any thing important, meaning I didn't give part of my local disk partition to install Kali. I am able to get into Kali however there are no other options in the grub menu other than the recovery mode and memtest, windows is not listed anywhere on the menu. Can someone help me fix this problem, ideally without having to reinstall windows and sorry if this is in the wrong place I wasn't sure where to post this issue.

i just read your post
the grub doesn't recognize the windows hard drive, maybe you misconfigured it during the installation.
anyway try the command update-grub and bring the output.

it reads:

don't worry, i had the same problem myself
you should know that you can still run windows, when you first start your computer, hit F10(or F8 it depends, you should see it on the screen ) to enter the boot menu and then select the hard drive on which you have win7 installed (temporarily solution)
now
to see where you hard drive is mounted type " blkid " (lowercase L)
