Recommended external NIC to use

Hi,

I am new to Kali.
Running Mac OS X.
Downloaded Kali Linux 64 bit and putting it onto a bootable USB stick.

I am looking for to buy an extern USB NIC to my MacBook Pro so that I do not have to use the built-in NIC.

What is recommended to use that is compatible with Kali 2.0?

I've been looking at ASUS USB-AC56, but do not dare to buy until I get some input if that device will work or not with Kali.
