RTL8822BE dose not work out of the box. i am always facing issues whenever i upgrade my kernel. rtlwifi by lwfinger is the only driver gets constant updates but ye injections dont work...

Root login disabled in latest Kali updates. If you want root login then do

apt install kali-root-login

i second this opinion but instead of termux please take care of the bugs in NH-Term.
main issue i see is first load after a reboot is taking some time and another one is paste option.

python 2 came to end of its life. so they removed pip from latest kali only pip3 available but you can manually install pip.

which adapter are you using?
i am using ralink RT2870/RT/3070 this in had similar issues and got fixed by applying a different patch.
