Subterfuge is not part of Kali but you can ask here:
https://code.google.com/p/subterfuge/
@when123
apt-get install libmicrohttpd
However OpenVas 6 is working now. So no need to rollback.
Very Nice :) Thanks for the mod/addition. I will add it in soon since you gave permission. With creds to you of course. Thanks again.

http://fabhax.com/technology/change-wallpapers-in-gnome-3.4/
yes it will disappear. But it should be in the notification area after you reboot.
Here is mine, give it a go, looks like you are missing a few core Kali sources
# deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 _Kali_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20130327-17:54]/ kali contrib...
what does your /etc/apt/sources.list look like?
are you doing and apt-get update?
be careful if adding extra sources to your source list.
try this
apt-get install network-manager network-manager-gnome
do you have the sound and battery icons ?
if not alt right click
add to panel
notification area
or at command prompt enter
nm-applet
It is there now. install and let it update. Then it will update exploitdb for you.
Thanks , it was a typo. it is fixed now.
Thats cool but I just use Terminator. Right click split .
!!! Update re-wrote script to be 64 bit and i386 and sexier check first post for the new version
In the rollback script,
I have replaced this
wget https://svn.wald.intevation.org/svn/openvas/trunk/tools/openvas-check-setup
with this
wget --no-check-certificate...
from the directory you downloaded the script to
do the following command
./lazykali.sh
the script uses bash not sh
I am running 64 bit
Thanks I just fixed it.
yeah openvas-scapdata-sync takes forever
That's weird compuwar gsd version in the repos has not changed?
Oh well lets see how it goes after your reboot.
rollback to openvas 5
http://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?6961-how-to-rollback-openvas-to-cd-original
this will roll openvas back to version 5
http://forums.kali.org/showthread.php?6961-how-to-rollback-openvas-to-cd-original
run the openvas-check-setup script
also note I just changed the original post and added apt-get install gsd kali-linux kali-linux-full to the script so you will have the menu items back
be aware...
thanks I fixed the script to include libopenvas5 and also the check setup script
Sorry to bring bad news but alot of the exploits in exploitdb have to be edited to be functional. This keeps script kids from going nutty with them.
ok all here is a fix

Hey everyone this is a how to rollback openvas to the cd original after apt-get dist-upgrade breaks it.
!!! Updated May 17 to do both 64 bit and i386 !!!
This is for a hard drive install with Kali...
looks like the old version has been removed from the repos.
I update with apt-get update because right now apt-get dist-upgrade will break openvas
Great script comaX !
The script by root-boy will do just that, update exploitdb
you can
apt-get install packagname=version
or install synaptic
after that this is my output
root@kali:~# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Until it is fixed I just forced the older version.
LOL who knew it would be number 2 on google LOL

Have you ever seen a computer from the 1960's LOL
I think Kali looks great out of the box
anyway you can change the themes with :
apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool
/usr/share/uniscan/report
Check your /etc/apt/sources.list
apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome network-manager-pptp network-manager-pptp-gnome network-manager-strongswan network-manager-vpnc...
should be :
svn export http://xssf.googlecode.com/svn/trunk ./ --force
I don't understand what you mean. But GhostPhisher is not my program. For questions on ghostphisher go here:http://code.google.com/p/ghost-phisher/
It has not been officially built for kali yet, so...
I am trying not to mess with the repos.
I can make the script add a second exploit-db in /opt/exploit-db which would be a pull from the website
or you can ask dookie, he seems to be the maintainer...
All I can say is
cd /opt/PwnSTAR_0.9
delete anything in that directory
and run the script again, it is just a wget statement fetching the download.
If that fails manually download with your...
from what I have read this is not a Kali issue but a Nautilus issue.
It has been fixed in newer versions of nautils ie nautilus 3.6 and 3.8 but has not been added to the stable repos yet
