You don't have to change the file name to something shorter... tab completion is your friend.

I am assuming what you are saying here is this (correct me if I am wrong):
1) Your computer on your local network is running Kali with Metasploit/SET.
2) You want to hit a box (that you best own)...
Check your sources.list in /etc/apt/sources.list. Should look something like:
deb http://http.kali.org/kali kali main non-free contrib
deb http://security.kali.org/kali-security kali/updates...
