Just install Debian for everyday use and put Kali on a nice usb device so you can hack your bank from your ram. ;)

I'm trying to build Kali with I3WM for amd64 on a Kali live amd64 and i get this after lb build:

Ok it worked, active the hidden files first and than in ~/.config/menus/ delete the file, Thanks
Probably you need to activate usb legacy mode from your bios.
I noted that if you download the mini iso, it's about 20mib, than you can choose a different gui from the advanced options during the setup.
Anyway i really like Kali and i think this is the right...
