    and do this:
    sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-headers-X.X.X
    sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-image-X.X.X


    and
  2. Kernel panic -not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block(0,0)

    I have kali linux as the only system, after executing the command "sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y"
    and reboot kali throws me an error

    how to fix it?
