Try this command sudo apt-get update.
After you type this it will ask for your root password.
If this does not work then try changing your repos.
repos can be found in /root/etc/apt/sources.list....

I suggest you to use the default repos.
I know that they are too slow but it may works.
Have you tried all the repos if not please try them all.

probably you should try it in dd image format.
This option is available in rufus.
