I'd uninstall the kali 6.0 kernel image and go with a supported one from my package manager.
No. I run Kali on a chromebook. No problems with kernel 6 on mine.
If using the below chipset you will need the non free firmware files

On the ssd problem. Boot live Kali. Open Gparted. Find ssd drive. Right click unmount if it is mounted. Eight click again and pick check. Hit apply.
You probably unmounted your ssd drive...
