Have a raspberry pi 7 inch touch display
Tried everything including editing /boot/config.txt with lcd_rotate=2 but get a gray screen immediately on boot.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Just to preface:
I've seen many resolutions to this problem, tried them all and every time I reboot. Screen turns a weird gray instantly at boot.
