quick update... i used the same pendrive with the same install to boot up another machine... so it looks to be a hardware error... anyone??

thnks for ur response. i've reformatted the key 3-4 times since..
i checked the sha1 immediately after download. i tried the process using unetbootin as well...it got and stayed stuck at 9%...
Also, i tried this twice. same result. havent been able to try it on different hardware yet... maybe tomorrow..
