flash will work at its max speed, copy speeds will be whatever is the bottleneck in this case HDD, so even though it might cache to ram at 170mb/s from flash, it will only copy at HDDs max speed...

If you want help you should really let us know what "failed". I'm no wizard, but managed to get it to work on my nook hd+, though still figuring out how to get kali apps on Linux deploy. A problem...
