had the same issue after flashing a different kernel and got it fixed by flashing the nethunter kernel. whatever kernel you use it must include mac80211 injection patch in order to be able to use...
this helps a lot you've basically answered any of my doubts. I guess I'll follow your advice. Thank you very much bob.
So I tried a live usb and can't see any improvements. I changed the usb ports and seems to perform a bit better with the YAGI rather than the standard antenna. Though my wifi router is 2 meters away...
gonna try later and report back.. thanks duxim!
Hey guys,
getting quite confused here. Today my YAGI antenna arrived in the mailbox, so I plugged that to my TL-WN722N and guess what, the power of the signal for each nearby hotspot is exactly the...
I know, that's what's bothering most! We run the same rom with the same kernel, it's quite upsetting :)
hey,
I yet have to try what JC suggested as I'm being quite busy at work until next week, I'll certainly report back as soon as I try it and wish you good luck.
It feels a bit better when you know...
@JC - I have just read your question again and it seems like I totally misunderstood! You meant to say that I should try flashing ROM > Gapps > Kernel without flashing Chroot, just to isolate the...
@anilrawal
it's "good" to know I'm not the only one facing the problem, at least someone else can get how frustrating it is and we start centralising the problem :)
@JC
hey mate thanks again...
Had a similar issue with a OPO and it turned out to be a kernel-related issue. But it was a different scenario as the usb stick worked and I was using a different phone.
Btw to check your kernel...
what does it say when you tap on Check App Update again?
Well I own a OPO so I wouldnt know how to help with a Nexus, but the problem was that I flashed a stock kernel after installing Nethunter.
The OPO network interface won't work in monitor mode so I...
thanks for explaining P (as always).
Tried NH 3 on both cm12.1 and cm13 on the oneplus One and I didnt have such options..maybe its something related to your make then..it'd be good to know more about this
^ where are you supposed to see these options during the flashing process? :/
I've had the same issue and it turned out I was using the wrong kernel. You do need to use the kernel that comes with Nethunter because it contains the mac80211 injection patch. Does your kernel have...
Hi guys and thanks a lot for the great work.
I am facing a quite annoying issue after flashing Nethunter on my Oneplus One: the device gets stuck for about 6/7 minutes on the 1+ logo, then the...
I've been a ***** for not mentioning you and jc here on the forums! I'd like to thank both you and JC for helping me out, the kernel works like a charm on CM13 as well as JC's chroot! Very stable...
SOLVED - It was a kernel issue.
Thanks a lot at the chaps on freenode who helped me out.
EDIT: Solved, I was using the wrong kernel, you need nethunter kernel in order to put your devices in monitor mode.
Hey guys, I've been digging around all over the web but I couldnt find...
