1. Disconect the device from the PC by safely ejecting it. Then plug it out.
2. Start the VM and plug the USB Adaptor in the USB2...

I have seen that warning aswell and I am also using 2 os's (kali and Windows 7) and they still work, so I don't think that it is something to worry about.
It shows me nothing at all, also nothing with the other wifi adaptor. From this article that seems normal.

4 weeks ago I received my TL-WN821N adaptor, of course I tried it immediately. But (like you can guess) it didn't work, it shows up at lsusb but there is no interface at ifconfig or iwconfig....
I had the same problem with the TL-WN821 driver, you need to make sure that there are no quotation marks in the name of the directory or parent directories.
