I also had a Realtek 8723 wifi on my notebook. It was not working with Kali 1.0.5. Upgraded to 1.0.6 and it started working. I guess more drivers would be available with the new version.

I use the RTL8111/8168B network card nd cannot get it to work. I have tried many different things.
