i performed the
sudo apt-get install python-software-properties ...

I know it may seem a bit stupid but i'm new on kali and really unfamiliar with the environnement.

I have a similar problem,
each time i run the command it displays:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package...
