VPN connection in Network Manager does not store password for sstp VPN

    Hi,

installed sstp package for gnome network manager on latest Kali. Created a new VPN connection and filled in all details including password. Then saved connection. Next time I go into the settings password is gone. VPN connection fails bacause of missing credentials. Other VPNs work perfectly. Any idea what is going wrong? Could not find location of stored passwords. Configs itself are stored und /etc/NetworkManager/system.connections. No sign of passwords in specific config files. Maybe stored in Keyring?

    cheers, s3cu5e

Network Manager usually requires su rights to make settings permanent, probably permission issue.

No, because for all other VPN connections it works
