Exclamation Kali Linux on a Chromebook

    Hey guys!

I got the Acer Chromebook 514 Spin a few month ago. Now I wanted to install Kali Linux on a Virtual Box. I installed both of them but when I started the Virtual Box a Error came in "Failed to enumerate host USB devices.
Could not load the Host USB Proxy service: VERR_NOT_FOUND." But I added KaliLinux as a new machine. That worked!!! But as I tried to start it another Error appeared "Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)
The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver is either not loaded or not set up correctly. Please try setting it up again by executing

    '/sbin/vboxconfig'

    as root.

If your system has EFI Secure Boot enabled you may also need to sign the kernel modules (vboxdrv, vboxnetflt, vboxnetadp, vboxpci) before you can load them. Please see your Linux system's documentation for more information.

where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT. "

Now I am really frustrated and need help. I would be very happy if you could help me. If you need more information just comment and I will anwser fast.

    Bye and Thanks!

Did you start with a VM version of Kali for virtual box?

    https://www.kali.org/get-kali/#kali-virtual-machines

    Did you import it correctly;

Just out of curiosity, has anyone gotten Kali Linux to run as a single-boot install on a chromebook? I love the 2-in-1 Lenovo with Stylus, I just would prefer linux because chromeOS is sort of buggy.

    Paid for it

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/204099018195

Just to mention. These 16 gig ssd drive are bit small for a kali install. I deleted my /swap partition to pick up more space because I can live with just 4 gig of ram and zram is a option also.
I broke my install when I blew away swap. Got the dreaded initramfs boot process telling me I needed run fschk on y install partition.
So made me a Live usb with gparted on it . Made sure my partition was unmounted before I did the fschk. All done graphically during live session run.
    Well. I fixed it.

But. Curiosity won out to see if my fix would work.
Some times I take a crooked road to get my head straight.
