I set up kali, and when I was done, it asked me for a username and password!? I had never been asked?? Username kali and password kali didn't work either. I installed this alongside windows 10 on my personal computer with 20 gb of storage.

if I remember correctly, its asks you during installation to create a user/pass no?
maybe still booting from liveCD and not the HDD. have you tried login with "root" and "toor" for password.
