Kali Theme for SLiM

Hi

I'm trying Kali for a few weeks now and I didn't really like GDM3 so i change it to SLiM and made a really light theme for kali.

I used a modified version of the 1920x1080 backgound image to fit my 1366x768 laptop screen but you can easily changed it by replace the background.png file with the Kali background who fit your screen

You can download it here if you want to use SLiM too

how to use it? its very interest for me

Once you installed SLiM (with apt-get install SLiM) you'll have to choose between GDM3 and SLiM. You just have to set the cursor on Slim then press enter.

once you done that, just extract the archive in /usr/share/slim/themes and change the /etc/slim.conf file by replacing the line

current_theme default

by

current_theme kali

and it's all done
