    Lightbulb Issue's with clock & widgets after update

    Hi All,

    I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue, after a recent update yesterday the clock and widgets in my taskbar are no longer functioning and are showing errors when click.

    Please see below -

    file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.digitalclock/contents/ui/main.qml:80:34: Type CalendarView unavailable

    file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.digitalclock/contents/ui/CalendarView.qml:604:13: Cannot assign to non-existent property "eventButton"

    file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.notifications/contents/ui/main.qml:112:37: Type CompactRepresentation unavailable

    file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.notifications/contents/ui/CompactRepresentation.qml: Type Globals unavailable

    file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.notifications/contents/ui/global/Globals.qml:407:9: Cannot assign to non-existent property "window"

    When I use the upgrade command I am met with 44+ packages left to install -

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree... Done
    Reading state information... Done
    Calculating upgrade... Done
    The following packages have been kept back:
    gedit gedit-common kde-cli-tools kde-cli-tools-data kde-config-screenlocker khotkeys khotkeys-data kscreen kwin-common kwin-data kwin-x11 libcolorcorrect5 libkf5screen-bin libkf5screen-data libkfontinst5 libkfontinstui5
    libkscreenlocker5 libkwineffects14 libkwinglutils14 libkworkspace5-5 libnotificationmanager1 libplasma-geolocation-interface5 libpowerdevilcore2 libpowerdevilui5 libtaskmanager6abi1 libweather-ion7 pgcli php-common
    plasma-browser-integration plasma-desktop plasma-desktop-data plasma-workspace powerdevil powerdevil-data python-tables-data python3-bottleneck python3-gdal python3-matplotlib python3-numpy python3-pgspecial python3-pygame
    python3-tables python3-tables-lib systemsettings
    0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 44 not upgraded.

    Any assistance would be great,

    Many Thanks,

    you coukld try reconfiguring your SDDM log in manager;
    dpkg-reconfigure sddm
    Or reinstall kde and see if it sorts itself out;

    This happens when the update process removes "plasma-desktop".
    "apt install plasma-desktop" it again and restart your GUI session.

    Cheers

    Hi!
    I had the same issue.
    In my case "sudoapt full-upgrade" fixed the issue.
