    Kali linux USB will only boot to GNU Grub

    Hello Ive been using Kali a while with no issues on my old system, however I have a new system and it will always boot to GNU Grub command line, Ive used the command 'boot' and it says I need to load the Kernel first.

    I checked on my old system again and it boots fine to the boot menu where I can select USB with live persistence and boots into Kali fine

    My new system:-
    CPU Intel 13700k
    Motherboard MSI Z690 Pro -A
    GPU RTX 4080
    NVME m.2 1 TB storage
    SSD 1 TB
    32GB ram

    My old system is about 10 years old, Ive reset the Bios on my New build to factory settings and made sure secure boot is disabled.

    Im at a loss what to do been racking my brains

    If you are using the same USB and you have persistence enabled, its likely trying to load the drivers the old system needs, not probe the new system and load what it needs!

    You can load the various bits yourself from the prompt, and once booted, update grub on the USB;
