Exclamation Kali detects USB wireless adapter, but no wireless networks shown

    Hey there Ya'll!

I had an issue when connecting my wifi adapter to kali linux.

I am running Oracle Virtual Box with Kali linux debian 11.

I have a tp-link usb adapter which I have enabled through usb, not through bridged adapter as it will be ethernet network in linux. I want it to be wifi so I can use the wifi modules in many tools.

when executing `iwconfig` I get the below results:

    Code:
    lo no wireless extensions.

    eth0 no wireless extensions.

    wlan0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"Giyun-1" Nickname:"<WIFI@REALTEK>"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.452 GHz Access Point: || A access point number, idk if it is secure to reveal it here ||
              Bit Rate:72.2 Mb/s Sensitivity:0/0
              Retry:off RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
              Encryption key:****-****-****-****-****-****-****-**** Security mode:open
              Power Management:off
Link Quality=100/100 Signal level=-18 dBm Noise level=0 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
              Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
also lsusb shows my usb plugged in and the wlan0 setup too when the usb is plugged in.

But when clicking on internet icon, it only shows ethernet network which is my inbuilt wifi in laptop but no wifi device even tho it is connected to wifi. I cant visit sites nor use tools because it says no wifi module found.

I connected a LB-Link wifi adapter too but didnt have success in setting up wlan0 with that but the device appeared in wifi devices. This TP-link adapter does work with access points and all other features and wlan0 set but does not appear in wifi devices.

Is there anyway someone could help me figure out the issue and solve it? I have been trying to research online but no solutions worked.

Right click on network icon and choose edit connections, and then click + icon at bottom, and add your WiFi adapter

Which adapter? Are drivers current and/or supported?
