VirtualBox VM not working inside Kali VM

I am trying to run a version of Kioptrix on VirtualBox inside of Kali. I am receiving the following errors:

    VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
    Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE
    (0X80004005)

    The machine state says Aborted

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The error states that your host machines processor doesn't support Virtualization.
Have you tried entering your host machines bios and enabling virtualization?

The error message you received indicates that the virtualization technology (VT-x) is not available or enabled on your computer. This technology is required for running 64-bit operating systems and some virtualization software such as VirtualBox.
To resolve this issue, you should first check if your computer supports VT-x. You can do this by checking your computer's BIOS settings.
To access the BIOS settings, restart your computer and look for the key that needs to be pressed to access the BIOS settings during startup. This key is usually displayed on the screen during startup, and it is different for each computer manufacturer.
Once you have accessed the BIOS settings, look for the option that enables or disables the virtualization technology (VT-x). This option may be labeled as "Virtualization Technology", "Intel Virtualization Technology", or something similar. Make sure that this option is enabled.
If your computer supports VT-x and the option is already enabled, then the issue may be with VirtualBox. In this case, you can try the following steps:

    1. Make sure that you have the latest version of VirtualBox installed on your system.
    2. Open VirtualBox and click on the "Settings" button for the virtual machine in question.
    3. Under the "System" tab, click on the "Processor" tab.
    4. Make sure that the "Enable PAE/NX" and "Enable VT-x/AMD-V" options are checked.
    5. If the issue persists, try disabling Hyper-V on your system. Hyper-V is a virtualization technology that can interfere with VirtualBox. To disable Hyper-V, open the Control Panel, click on "Programs", and then click on "Turn Windows features on or off". In the "Windows Features" window, uncheck the box next to "Hyper-V", and then click on "OK".
    6. If none of the above steps work, you can try disabling the "Nested Paging" option under the "System" tab in the virtual machine settings. This option is located under the "Acceleration" tab.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. Let me know if you have any further questions!
