Hello all,
I'm trying to install Kali on this laptop. I was happy to dedicate it for the job, it has Intel 2200 WiFi covered with ifw2200 driver natively, but...

After installation, I went into problem - after Grub option what to boot, I saw Kali logo, and when I needed to get login screen, I get blank screen. I guessed it was needed to be there so i logged in blindly, and saw disk activity on hdd led.

I found that adding "I915.modeset=0" to grub option could be a workaround so I did that, but I need some permanent solution.

Also, I tried (I have some knowledge in RHEL, but new to Debian) adding SSHD to starting daemons with systemctl command, but the change is somewhat not permanent. How to enable sshd daemon on OS start?

In addition, I can't opet virtual console with ctrl alt F1.

And to conclude, is there a way to install midnight commander and what is needed for that?

Thank You in advance
