    backing up panel launchers? howwwww

I have had the hardest time trying to figure out where Kali panel launchers are located, and how to back them up/restore them.
I have about 30 of them across the top of the screen that I use constantly, and to set all this up again if the system crashes would be ****.
What directory are these launchers stored in, and is there an easy way to backup/restore them in Kali?
    Thanks for advice!

    Hello @jeffpas!

The panel launchers are stored in the following directory:

    /etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged
This directory contains a file called applications.menu which lists all of the launchers that are currently displayed on the panel. You can edit this file to add or remove launchers, or to change the order in which they are displayed.

    I hope this helps!
