    Kali Linux Root User Policy

Is it really that bad of an idea to run as a standard user in Kali? Would the app/scripts not request root authentication when needed?

You would have to type in your password every time you open a tool from the menu or terminal. While good practice it's not really practical to do this every few minutes or so.
