    Kali Linux Root User Policy

Is it really that bad of an idea to run as a standard user in Kali? Would the app/scripts not request root authentication when needed?

You would have to type in your password every time you open a tool from the menu or terminal. While good practice it's not really practical to do this every few minutes or so.

Kali is made for Security professionals why would they need to use standard mode most tools run best as root.
