I have an HP Pavilion DV 6500 and when I installed Kali, my display immediately looks like below. I have almost pulled all my hair out over this. Any help out there on how to fix this so I can get up and running? It is an AMD X2 64 bit CPU and Nvidia 7150m display driver. Thanks for any advice!

This looks like a simple graphics issue. My recommendation is to set nomodeset during the grub boot. Press "e" during the grub screen and add it there --nomodeset. If it works you can make it a permanent change. I hope it helps
