    MDK3 problem

Hi guys, just tried MDK3 and realized that is not working as it should be, i tried to dos my AP but nothing happening, i was able to dos my AP with BT5-3 every time and still able to,

signal is very good it's -10 to -20 so i know is not the signal problem because am very few feet away from the AP pluse from the same distance am able to dos it with BT5-3

however i notice when i dos it there's only one client conected to my AP, but on BT5 there's thousands clients conected,

your help will be appreciated, thank you

    root@Kali:~# mdk3 mon0 a -a 00:818:4D:C6:92

    AP 00:818:4D:C6:92 is responding!
Connecting Client: 20:F2:5E:B7:00:71 to target AP: 00:818:4D:C6:92
AP 00:818:4D:C6:92 seems to be INVULNERABLE!
Device is still responding with 1000 clients connected!

it says that 1000 clients connected but there is only one!

I had a similar problem with the aircrack suite and mdk3. On Ubuntu 10.04 they both worked fine for me, but I lost full functionality on Kali. In my case it seems that the problem was with the wireless drivers -- the change in OS meant a change in wireless drivers and I lost the ability to inject packets. My advice would be to use airmon-ng to check what chipset you are using, and use aireplay-ng to check that you have injection.

    Good Luck!

sorry bit late to replay on here but i did fix the problem the same day i posted this, nothing wrong with the driver or what ever, what i did is prety simple!

i had BT5-r3 installed on VM with kali next to eachother, i have deleted mdk3 from kali from /usr/bin/mdk3 and copy paste from BT5-r3 to kali, i noticed that the file size is not the same, the mdk3 file in kali much bigger, anyway when you copy paste to kali all what you have to do is, open mdk3 properties, under Permissins tick the box says Allow executing file as program and you should be good to go,

MDK3 now working beautifully on kali,

thanks for your replay 1n50mn14c anyway,
