i am running kali linux amd64 version...after installing gnome full tools the system setting couldnt opening and there is not way to access any of the settings too......plz help to fix this..

Can you give more details on your problem please, because it's not really clear for us.

I am actually having this same issue. Basically when you go to Applications > System Tools > Prefrences > System Settings it just says "Starting System Settings" then nothing. Also if I Right Click and click "Change Desktop Background" it does not work either. I'm on a SDD install with amd64.

The same problem occured after installing and messing with my videocard driver
tried opening from the cli "gnome-control-center" and also was unable to open
Fix/installed the right graphic driver using this method thanks to Sani Morphic n blackMORE
