Configure Virtual Private Network (VPN) in Kali

Well its strange that why VPN is not configured in Kali Linux by default. Anyways If u want to connect to vpn in kali linux just run the following commands one by one and then everything will be under control.
    Commands:
    Code:
    apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome
    apt-get install network-manager-pptp
    apt-get install network-manager-pptp-gnome
    apt-get install network-manager-strongswan
    apt-get install network-manager-vpnc
    apt-get install network-manager-vpnc-gnome
    /etc/init.d/network-manager restart

If you want a free VPN.

Then visit this link http://www.bestukvpn.com to use this vpn service then go to network manager add vpn. Gateway will be bestukvpn.com or its ip address and username/password you can get on the site. leave domain blank

Do whatever but Stay Anonymous :-)

Sorry, due to time shortage i discussed things not in details but if you get any problem then contact me thanks.

Thanks Hitman for sharing your knowledge. Worked perfectly and with some modification I am able to randomize my auto connect to the 20+ vpn servers I use.

On a side note: Hitman, do you trust 'Best UK VPN' for anonymity? I see they offer a free VPN, but I wonder what connection info is being gathered because of their statement "users' VPN access log is subjected to expose to related authorities".

i just gave an idea to how to configure and use a VPN i dont care about Best Uk as there are alot of other VPN services as well. so regarding the info gathering question off course they log the info because you are using their services. In rare cases they reveal the information with authorities if you create a really big mess while using their service.

I have tried this over and over. My sources list is correct. I tried without a firewall, and when I do the apt-get from the list up above I show that everything is the newest version. However when I try to connect to any VPN it says connection failed. I make sure I set up the correct information, and even go to advanced setting and check ( use point to point encryption ) I still have no luck. Any ideas?

After trying this software https://www.waselpro.com/en/ i think that it is what you need. Wasel Pro is Unlimited VPN provider for all plans (torrents download, no restrictions)global network of servers everywhere, that makes fast routing possible for anyone, and all servers are high in performance and low in users ratio, using OpenVPN protocol (most other VPN services are just pptp service).
