Smile Kali-linux subsequently encrypt on Hard-Disk?

It is also possible, as with backtrack 5 by copying the partition and change the fstab etc. to encrypt his system later?

    if so, how?

No clue what you are asking. Kali supports LVM encryption, as well as the Truecrypt package.

He's talking about the old method to dual boot windows with backtrack 5 encrypted using dm-crypt
you had to edit your fstab and downgrade to grub and all kinds of bs. it was an old mathy vanhoef article

    or perhaps this one

edit: on second thought i found a basic debian guide for lvm thru the installer, perfect.

i'm still trying to find the original guide. I cannot remember what I googled, but it took me to a page with a graphical debian installer walk thru for using LVM and AES-256 directly from the installer and it was flawless. screenshots and everything. I'll find it if I can.

    GOT IT.

This guide will show you how to multi-boot between windows and kali, using LVM to encrypt the installation, swap, and home 'partitions'. This is the one I used so I can say for sure it worked with kali 1.0 gnome 64 iso
