I am trying to get Kali to run on a PC with 6 COM Ports. It is seeing four of them but the 5th and 6th appear in DMESG as disabled. I have tried using setserial but it never creates ttyS04 and ttyS05.
I have tried various grub boot modifications but most things I have found want you to recompile the kernel which I am not sure how to do.
The serial ports are onboard and it is an Intel Serial Card. In lspci is says that it is an 8 port card and is using IRQ19. In the Bios and in logs each port has it's own IRQ and hardware number none of which is IRQ19.
Any suggestions?
