Sysfs injection support was not found either.
now my internal wireless Atheros card picks up many netowrk, but this external Alfa picks up maybe 2 networks at the most, when i try in Backtrack 5 R3. One of them is next to me and the other is next door.

I have searched, and i am unable to find a fix, can anyone please give me a guide on how to get this working correctly and patched so i can use it for injection.

Many thanks and thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out with this issue

yes i did put it in mon0 mode, but i noticed that the weakness of the signal was due to the ariel, swapped it with a different one that i had spare lying around and i now pick up more AP's but thats when i use the Alfa AWUS036NH in Backtrack 5 R2 ..... still doesn't work in Kali Linux ....
