    Failed to aquire org.gnome.DisplayManager

My kali is starting like backtrack. I have amd64 installed to a USB stick. When i type gdm3 which is like typing startx in backtrack i get this error

    ** (gdm3:4015): WARNING **: Failed to aquire org.gnome.DisplayManager

** (gdm3:4015): WARNING **: Failed to aquire name; bailing out

This started happening after I installed nvidia drivers version 304.88 (I know they arent the latest, i just wanted to use something i thought would work) according to this guide.

    http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphic...Version_304.88

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

The same error just occurred on my system. Did either of you sort it out? Any help appreciated.
