Black screen after NVIDIA driver (.run) installation

it may be a famous pain in the *** problem

installed kali 32 bit on a 64 bit CPU
    Nvidia geforce GT 520 m

installed linux headers , then downloaded .run ,stopped gdm3 then installed the driver after giving it 755 permissions
in the end he run the nvidia-xconfig and created my xorg.conf

after rebooting when the system reaches the part of showing me the GUI it fails and show me a black screen
    i did CTRL+Alt+F1

deleted xorg.conf and rebooted , now i'm not using my nvidia

is there any solution of it ?

PS: i don't need nvidia because i want to run a 3D app or something
but i want to install it because i have a problem with my laptop(pavilion g6 ) overheating when i run Kali or Backtrack

so i heard that installing Nvidia drivers will help !

so if you guys have a solution to my overheating ( like reducing hard drive spinning or something like that ) hit me

it would be nice installing the Nvidia though

I have the same issue. Blank screen after nvidia driver was installed. Moved xorg.conf and rebooted. I am still looking for a way to get it working.
