    HasLinux meterpreter broken?

Hello all, sorry for my english, i am from Russia.

I have used in metasploit payload "linux/x86/meterpreter/reverse_tcp"

So when i get executable file and run it with:

    chmod +x Desktop/Meterpreter
    cd Desktop
    ./Meterpreter

    i have got the error:

    segmentation fault

    What it the problem?

I run linux meterpreter on target system with Kali Linux.

    So i wanna ask:

Has Linux Meterpreter broken or Kali Linux blocked executable file of linux meterpreter?

Try to set up a multi/handler and see what you get.

Did you setup a multi/handler listener in your kali machine in interception of the meterpreter payload before executing it on the victim machine ? once executed, the payload will try to connect to the attacking machine to deliver the meterpreter shell and if there is not handler listening there it can segfault.
