I just updated to Kali from BackTrack 5.3. As soon as I started my notebook it prompted me the password form and it poppe it up three times as the password was wrong. Then, I tried to go a little closer to the router and could see that it was connected. I was able to stay connected from my bedroom with BT5.3 and now I can't. Wireless drivers are the ath9k as before.
Any idea?
PS. It might be useful to know that I was never able to connect from ubuntu either. But form Wicd (or what was the name) in BT5.3 it dysplayed a good 60% of signal.
PS1. I'll try to install Wicd and report back the results about signal strength
